![]() Antique Map Fairs in the Heart of London
The dates for
2008 fair will be Saturday and Sunday June 7 & 8, 2008.
The fair again coincides with the ABA Bookfair on the Saturday and with the Olympia Fine Art & Antiques Fair on both days. The London Map Fair has moved a number of times over the years, and we believe that we have now found its natural home at the Royal Geographical Society (RGS) in South Kensington. The accessible central location, attractive and historic setting and even the high quality of catering all bode well for the future success of the fair. The prestigious premises of the Royal Geographical Society in the Royal Borough of Chelsea & Kensington, by far London’s wealthiest borough, are situated on the edge of Hyde Park right next to the Royal Albert Hall and close to the Victoria & Albert Museum, Harrods, Knightsbridge and the West End. The RGS was founded in 1830 as an institution to promote the advancement of geographical science. The history of the Society enshrines such famous names connected with the British history of travel and exploration as Livingstone, Stanley, Scott, Shackleton, Hunt and Hillary.
The dates for 2008 fair will be Saturday and Sunday June 7 & 8, 2008.
More details (stand rents etc) to be announced later in the year. London Map Fairs are organised by London Map Fairs Limited,
registered in England
