A cocktail
and dinner which is open for visitors and participating dealers will start at 19.30 in restaurant Le Grand Colbert, 2 rue Vivienne - 75002 Paris - Tél. : 33(0)1 42 86 87 88,
75002 PARIS.
One of the few independently owned brasseries left in Paris, Le Grand Colbert, with its typical brasserie decoration, with globe lamps and ceiling moldings, feels grand and yet not overpolished. It attracts a wonderfully Parisian mix of elderly lone diners, business lunchers, tourists, and couples, all of whom come for the enormous seafood platters, duck foie gras with Sauternes jelly, and steak tartare.
If you have seen the film Something's Gotta Give with Jack Nicholson, Diane Keaton and Keanu Reeves, this is the restaurant where Diane Keaton's character says you can eat the best roast chicken in the world. Price 85 euros.
This coctail & diner is open for visitors, collectors and dealers.
Reservation needed.
Price for cocktail and dinner is 85 euros per person, including wine. By reservation only and payable in advance.
