Decorative print of the "D'Admiralyteits Huys", Het Prinsenhof, of the Dutch East India Company VOC. Located at the Oudezijds Voorburgwal 195-199, Amsterdam.
A folding fan showing a nautical festival, ca. 1770.
Folded fan, painted in gouache a ship pulled by two horses. On board, a large company, among others joins them while fishermen watch the scene.Reverse painted with an exotic flower. Monogram "SK" on the left.The ivory frame is engraved with flowers enhanced with silver foil.

An original early 17th century copper engraved miniature antique map of the eastern Dutch region of Overijssel by Petrus Bertius. The title is displayed in a simple strapwork cartouche with the further title in bold letters above the map. Zwolle the capital city is engraved, along with Lochem, Zutphen, Apeldoorn, Deventer, Hengelo and Enschede. From the Bertius atlas Tabularum geographicarum contractarum. Two engravings. [514] On 29th May, 1615, Spilbergen’s fleet anchored further north, off an island called Santa María that was separated by a narrow stretch of water (A), from Punta Lavapié on the mainland. Four of the ships (I) anchored in the bay, while the fifth (H) anchored closer. The Dutch went ashore in small boats (F), where they saw Spanish soldiers on horseback (B), so they arranged themselves for battle (C).
