Full title and impressum in an extensive cartouche bottom left: 'Americae Mappa generalis Secundum legimitas projectionis Stereiographiae regulas (..) Homannianis Heredibus MDCCXXXXVI.' This copy was published after Johann Baptiste's death in 1748.
A detailed map of the western hemisphere. Large parts of Western North America were left blank as not having been mapped.
