The foreground is animated with a great variety of sailing vessels.The printer's address is dated 1699, but the tile has the date 1700. It is the oldest antiquarian book fair in Italy. Mantova Libri Mappe Stampe (Mantua Books, Maps & Prints) carries on a tradition that started in 1975 when the first event in Italy, entirely dedicated to antique prints, maps and books was held in Mantova.
Over forty Italian and international exhibitors (including specialist bookshops with antique prints and maps dealers) have already confirmed their attendance at this year's renowned and most awaited fair.
